Simple Stampin' Up! Gift tags

We all like to receive gifts and aren't they more fun when they are wrapped up beautifully.  Last weekend as part of our Stampin' Up! stand display at the Sincerely Yours Show in Newark we shared some great ways of making your gifts look exciting.  Thank you to everyone who passed by our stand to say hello, place orders or book events with us.  We'll be at the Portsmouth show on October 31 to share more projects there too so please do come and say hello if you visit the show.

Here is a set of tags that were on display, simply made with 2inch wide strips of kraft card stock put at one end into the scallop tag topper punch and then at the other end the star punch was pushed up the card stock as far as it would go to create an aperture.   The punched star was then added with a stampin' dimensional along with some gold foil card and washi tape to add some sparkle.  Some cherry cobbler thick baker's twine adds just enough colour along with a stamped to and from on the reverse.  Simple, quick, but effective.

These could be used for birthdays or Christmas with adjustments to colours only to suit a particular occasion.  In our house though they will be for Christmas as we have a houseful this year with my young niece and nephews so we'll be needing lots of tags, ear defenders and Christmas cheer.

Have a great day.
